1. e-Resume.us is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. If you
register as a candidate with e-Resume.us, e-Resume.us will need to obtain
some personal information about you, which is stored on e-Resume.us’s
computer. e-Resume.us will need to know your name, address, e-mail
address, telephone number, gender, role sought and availability.
In addition any resume that you upload to e-Resume.us will be stored on
e-Resume.us’s computer. This information and any such resume allows
e-Resume.us to provide to you the services specified on this website
which e-Resume.us might provide from time to time for candidates who
have registered with e-Resume.us.
2. In addition to the above, the personal information which you provide
us with, together with information on services that you have accessed
via us in the past may be used by e-Resume.us, for the purpose of notifying
you about any of its services (including newsletters). If you would
rather not receive this material, you will be given an opportunity
to notify us accordingly before submitting your personal information.
Otherwise, by submitting your information you consent to its use
in this way.
3. e-Resume.us recognises that certain candidates who submit personal
information to e-Resume.us may wish to be registered with e-Resume.us
indefinitely. Similarly e-Resume.us recognises that certain candidates
who upload their resumes may wish to gain access to those resumes indefinitely.
Accordingly e-Resume.us may (but shall not be obliged to) retain personal
information and any resume that you upload to e-Resume.us’s computer
indefinitely. If you would like e-Resume.us to delete personal information
relating to your registration or any resume that you have uploaded please
send an email to Support giving details of your request.
e-Resume.us reserves the right not to delete such personal information
or resume if there is any legitimate reason why such information or
resume ought to be retained by e-Resume.us.
4. If you use e-Resume.us to apply for adverts then your emails will
be sent with your personal details to agencies via e-Resume.us’s
servers. You consent to e-Resume.us monitoring the contents of any
email sent via e-Resume.us’s servers.
5.1 e-Resume.us uses cookies (defined below) by collecting user information
for the website. The main objective of the cookies is to identify
users and personalise their visit by customising web pages for them,
for example by welcoming them by name, next time they visit the
same site.
5.2 A cookie is a message given to a web browser by a web server.
The message is then stored by the browser in a text file. Each time
the browser requests a page from the server, this message is sent

6. Save as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy or save as otherwise
required by law, e-Resume.us does not disclose personal information

for any other reason. In the event that e-Resume.us agrees to sell
or otherwise transfer all or any part of its business to a third
party, e-Resume.us may transfer any personal information that it holds
about you (including resumes) to that third party.
7. If e-Resume.us changes its Privacy Policy, e-Resume.us will post the changes
on this page so that you may be aware of them and you will be given
a chance to ask e-Resume.us not to use your information for the changed
purposes.
8. Because the Internet infrastructure is global, and it is not possible
to predict the routes that information sent over the Internet will
take, the information you provide may be transferred temporarily
via a route which takes it outside the European Economic Area as
it passes between you and us. By submitting your information you
consent to this transfer.
